Gijón: Guide
Gijón är Asturiens största stad, som ligger nedanför Picos de Europa. I den gamla delen ligger "La Ruta" som är bardistriktet i staden. Klimatet är fuktigt och milt. Staden har en vacker strandpromenad och flera sandstränder. Staden är liksom resten av Asturien känd för sin cider "sidra", som enligt traditionen tappar sin smak om den förs utanför Asturiens gränser. Staden har högskolor som bland annat utbildar civilingenjörer och högskoleingenjörer.
