Kumamoto: Guide
Kumamoto (jap. 熊本市; -shi) är huvudstad i Kumamoto prefektur på ön Kyushus västkust, Japan. Staden hade 579 000 invånare 1990. Kumamoto är ett handels- och kulturcentrum med bland annat universitet, staden är även känd för trädgårdsparken Suizenji. Kumamoto var arrangörsort vid Världsmästerskapet i handboll 1997.
