Antwerpen (på provinsen Antwerpen. Genom staden flyter floden Schelde.
Staden är centrum för diamanthandel och diamantförädling. Antwerpen har också sedan 1990-talet ett visst rykte som modestad. Till sevärdheter och turistattraktioner räknas Antwerpens zoo, som hör till världens äldsta.
Antwerpen grundades runt år 800. Staden var arrangörsort vid de Olympiska sommarspelen 1920.
