Mendoza: Guide
Mendoza är en stad i mellersta Argentina som är belägen nära gränsen mot Chile. Den är centrum för landets viktigaste frukt- och vindistrikt. I staden finns också ett oljeraffinaderi. Centralorten har endast 110 000 invånare, men hela storstadsområdet (där bl.a. Guaymallén, Godoy Cruz och Las Heras ingår) har totalt 850 000 invånare (2001).
Mendoza grundades av spanjorerna 1561.
